Exam coverage

Is there a Civil Service Exam mock test for 2026 with answers?

Yes. There is a free one on this site, and a full-length one behind a plan. But it is worth two minutes on what makes a mock test worth sitting, because the answer key — the thing the question is usually asking for — is the least useful part of one.

A 50-question diagnostic is free here and needs no card. Full-length simulations — 150 questions Professional, 145 Subprofessional, on the real clock — are part of a paid plan.

What “2026” can honestly mean

Not that anybody has 2026’s paper. Examination content is confidential, and a site offering this year’s actual questions is either publishing something it should not have or inventing it.

What it can honestly mean is that the test matches the format currently in use: the right number of items, the right subjects in the right proportions, the right time limit. That is checkable, it is what makes a mock test predictive, and it is where most free PDFs quietly fail — they are the same eighty questions that have been circulating for years, weighted nothing like the real paper.

Why the answer key is the least of it

An answer key tells you that you got item 34 wrong. It does not tell you why the option you chose was tempting, which is the part that stops you choosing it again.

Every question here carries a written explanation for every option, including the ones you did not pick, and each wrong option exists to catch one specific mistake — the word that sounds similar, the relation reversed, the figure that answers a different question. Knowing which mistake you made is most of the learning. A key cannot give you that, and a key is what a PDF has.

The three things that make a mock test predictive

The clock. Three hours and ten minutes, no feedback along the way. Most people who run out of time knew the answers; they spent four minutes on an item worth the same mark as one taking forty seconds. You cannot discover that on an untimed PDF.

A fresh paper. Sitting the same test twice measures your memory of it. Our forms are assembled from a blueprint at the moment you start, so your second paper is not your first one again, and two people sitting on the same day get different papers of equivalent difficulty.

A per-skill result. One overall score cannot tell you what to do next. Two people can score identically and need completely different months of work, so the result has to arrive broken down by subject and skill or it is just a number to feel a feeling about.

Where to start

With the free 50-question diagnostic, not the full paper. It is balanced across every area and three difficulty bands within each, it takes under an hour, and it reports per skill — so you will know which three or four subjects are actually costing you marks before you spend a Sunday on a full-length sitting.

When you are ready for the real rehearsal, the full-length simulation is the one that tells you what the clock does to you. You can also print it with a real shading answer sheet, work it in pencil, and photograph the sheet to have it marked — the examination is a paper test, and shading 150 bubbles against a clock is a skill worth having practised.

On where the questions come from: every one is written for this platform against the published scope and format, nothing is copied from another reviewer, and every factual question cites the law it comes from with that citation checked automatically before it can be published. Our editorial standards set out the whole process, including what we will not do.
